The coordination of the BICC is a joint initiative of the Centres for Evidence Based Healthcare (CEBHC) and Health Professions Education (CHPE).

Main areas of interest/expertise

The BICC is a joint initiative of the Centres for Evidence Based Healthcare (CEBHC) www.sun.ac.za/cebhc and Health Professions Education (CHPE) (www.sun.ac.za/chpe). The CEBHC works with Cochrane and the Campbell Collaboration and has a long history of supporting and conducting relevant reviews. The CHPE seeks to support the enhancement of teaching and learning in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences through its academic postgraduate programmes and an extensive suite of faculty development initiatives. A key area of work relates to the development of scholarship in the field of HPE.
